I know you all know what happened but as an artist myself I have to say this was a powerful thing to watch. I can only imagine the swell of emotions running through Brown as he performed a tribute to his idol and had to try to sing a song to the world that fit his situation well. I don't know if he broke down because he knew what was running through the entire worlds mind as the lyrics to "Man In The Mirror" began or if is was that light bulb that actually went off at that time, but the performance was good either way. In his first live televised performance since assaulting Rihanna, Chris Brown broke down as he performed a tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.
Donning a fedora and sparkled glove, he mimicked Jackson's signature " Moonwalk" across the stage to "Billie Jean" at the BET Awards Sunday in Los Angeles.

But when he grabbed the mic to belt out "Man in the Mirror," Brown -- who has been outspoken about how Jackson influenced his career -- lost it.

His voice cracked and he could not sing.

FULTON - Born, raised, schooled and living in Fulton, one local singer got his break opening for a world famous comedian in Chicago.
It was a case of one hometown boy helping another.
Chris grew up a pretty popular guy. Afterall, his mom used to own the local daycare and now owns the local candy store.
"I pretty much grew up with all my classmates, they went to the daycare first," Branch said. "Now she's turned it into a candy store and a lot of my friends still come to get her candy."
Chris is a hometown boy.
"I wouldn't mind a house in Miami and Puerto Rico, but I'm going to have a house in Fulton just the same," he said.
A hometown boy who caught the ear of another hometown boy, Jefferson City's own Cedric the Entertainer. Chris, whose stage name is Chris Corvino, opened for Cedric the Entertainer Saturday, Jan. 16 in Chicago.
"That's kind of my first step," Branch said. "If people like me then I could maybe open up on some other tours."
Chris got one chance to wow the crowd, his new single, "Irresistible."
"He made that song for me which is pretty exciting," his fiancee Heather said.
"There are other artists I could go with and possibly open up for them,"
From sweet treats to sweet sounds, Chris plans to branch his music career into an irresistible future.

Chris Corvino, is 25 years old from Missouri. He started making music from a very young age, in 8th grade his music teacher created a Male Vocalist of the Year Award especially for him. His first recordings were created in 2002, with Eddie aka SK from Jennings, and Rocky from St.Louis. In 2004 he linked up with Jermaine (Skylissz the Colossus) from Time Is Platinum Records. In September he released his debut album "King Of The Row"featuring local artists Lavish, Flo-Good, Gator, Chase Chansas, J-Bone, and Skylissz. Hit singles "Main Frame" and "Move Part II" are in rotation on 88.9 FM and were featured on Y107. The album will soon be on iTunes, as well as Napster, Limewire, Rhapsody, and Verizon Wireless.
